Crypto Exchange Binance Launches New Regional Hub in Georgia

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance just announced the launch of a new regional hub in Georgia. Currently, 25 people work for the hub with plans to create “dozens more jobs” by the end of 2023. Binance's CEO Changpeng Zhao stated, “We are confident that with the local government’s support and the amazing, talented Georgian youth, we will make the hub in Georgia a success story for both Binance and for the economy at large.” This new hub is part of Binance's plan to expand its presence in the European region, following the recent acquisitions of two cryptocurrency exchanges JEX, a derivative trading platform and Swipe, a mobile processing platform. By opening this hub in Georgia, Binance will be able to take advantage of the country's favorable regulatory and tax framework and better serve its customers in the region. Furthermore, the hub will also create a bridge in knowledge and technical expertise, enabling crypto enthusiasts and the local developer community to interact with leading figures in the crypto and blockchain space. This news comes as a great boost for the local economy, both in terms of creating jobs and strengthening the regional crypto industry. Binance has been a pioneer in the crypto space, and it is great to see them continue to grow and support their customers with new and innovative services. We look forward to seeing the success of this new regional hub and wish Binance all the best. Categories: Cryptocurrency Exchange
