Polygon to help fight NFT scams with Web3 infra protocol partnership

Polygon Takes Action to Fight NFT Scams with Web3 Infrastructure Protocol Wakweli

Latest news reveals that Polygon, one of the leading non-fungible token (NFT) platforms, has partnered up with Wakweli, an Ethereum-based Web3 infrastructure protocol, in an effort to protect its users from frauds and scams.

Wakweli offers a secure and transparent platform for verifying the provenance, authenticity, rights and provenance of digital items. Through this partnership, the platform will provide certificates of authenticity for all of Polygon-powered NFTs. This offer should help Polygon users trust the items they purchase, and avoid the all-too-common cases of fraud, which are increasingly becoming the main drawback to adopting NFTs.

Russ Pavlicek, one of the founders of the Wakweli Project, spoke on the partnership in a statement saying, “We are excited to be partnering with Polygon. This collaboration is part of our mission to build out a secure digital asset infrastructure, so users can access trustworthy transactions and certifications for digital products.”

Polygon has been an active participant in the NFT market for some time now, having recently made some major moves to expand the use of NFTs and smart contracts; Polygon recently partnered with Moonwhale, a secure digital asset management platform, to offer its users access to liquidity on the Ethereum mainnet.

This recent partnership with Wakweli is an important step forward in Polygon’s efforts to ensure user safety, and should give its users the confidence to continue transacting on the platform.

It will be interesting to see how this partnership pans out as more and more platforms join the race to make NFTs secure and reliable.
